Extremities: The Lengths I Go To!

Way back in the summer of 2001, I spent a few weeks out in California. A part of the time was spent out in Santa Barbara meeting the guys at a Vehicle Diagnostics and Telematics company for whom I was working back home.

The extremity I am recording is a point in front of the shelves on the far wall of the CompUSA store in Goleta, California. If my memory serves me correctly the shelf contained Sony Laptops. I recall the conversation that took place with the spotty little oik, who couldn’t seem to grasp the concept that TFT screens in laptops do have a refresh rate even though there is no scanning beam. The things that stick in your mind!
